RedBrick AI is a startup in the AI for medical imaging space, founded in 2021 by Derek and Shivam. The company joined Y Combinator in Winter 2022. Their mission focuses on accelerating AI adoption in radiology through software infrastructure, currently helping teams prepare datasets for training algorithms.
Contributions
I joined as founding product designer in August 2023, taking on app and website design alongside product management. Key work included redesigning the design system, launching a new website, and introducing two new products with additional features.
Dashboard and Annotator
The platform comprises two main experiences: a Dashboard for administrators and managers who input data, and an Annotator for labelers and radiologists working through the datasets.
Design system
The refined design system prioritises utility and function, enabling developers to independently explore solutions using available components.
A new website, evolved brand, and product illustrations
With the new website, we wanted to highlight and communicate the product's features and functionality clearly with illustrations that feel dynamic and self-explanatory.
